Let us hope this does not last four hours.
Did I hear this correctly? Oscar Tavares of the Cards died in a car accident. His girlfriend also, I think. How incredibly sad, if true.
It has been confirmed by his agent and his family. Terribly sad news.
Chilling news.
Thinking if Cards had won NLCS…Tavares would be playing tonight. Very sad news for his family, Cardinals and MLB.
Sad to hear about Oscar Tavares.

Shades of Michel Briere.

RIP
I remember Briere… Saw him in person his 1st season in Pittsburgh. The future for Pens at the time was bright with thoughts of him maturing as player….he was not as hyped as Sid..(media not the same in late 60’s early 70’s) but had that star power potential.
Horrible news.
Two runs could be enough.
Cain just saved a pair there.
If the giants win can kc win two straight?
Going home. I’d say they definitely have a legit shot to win 2 straight if they don’t win tonight. They won’t be facing Bumgardner. Peavy will be going against them in game 6 & he’s not dominant.
Bumgarner is living on another planet right now. Unbelievable!
Let’s go Gigantes !
This playoff & WS performance by Bumgardner, assuming he wins tonight, is one for the ages .
If the Steelers have a new attack called The Killer B’s, I hereby dub the Giants attack The Killer P’s. Panda, Pence, Posey, and tonight, Perez.
And Panick, too.
Great one — how could I forget!! He’s provided quite the Panick attack!
(Coming off the bench and playing 2nd, and being such a spark with the bat, he’s reminded me a lot of how Brian Doyle filled in at 2nd and had such a big WS for the Yankees way back in 1978.)
Royals in seven!
