On location: Hurricanes 4, Penguins 2, final

Thank goodness, a hockey thread.
DK,every time you write anything about the Pirates and money the comment section lights up like a Christmas tree.
Not as bright though.

" 56% of adult Pittsburghers (that’s a real nickname) are fans of their team,"

Glad the Pens tied it but how is that not goalie interference?

Because Sid is smart to tie up the defender who ties up the goalie Pens are not playing great, but good enough to find wins. Pens are building some chemistry but the fact is Spalling is not a top LW and Kunitz is just killing them..

Can we please have #27 relegated to bench duty! There has to be someone at W-B that can play with more speed and grit!

pretty yucky game

So far pretty ugly on the part of the pens. Still have fun in section 201!

Beauty of a set up by Sid, best part he gives to a guy that can hit the net.
The Horn just may work out here.

The more aggressive team wins. Canes still dictating to us. Needs to change in the third,

How about Megna in the NHL? Drives me nuts.

Save of the game by the Flower

Kunitz really does look lost in this system.

A richly deserved loss. Outshot by 12 on your own ice? Lack of effort, nothing more.

Pens played the majority of the game short-handed. I don't think Goc returned after taking a shot block off the knee/leg.

Before that, I noticed Spaling got demoted from Crosby's line. Kunitz is better with Crosby, but Kunitz is 33 or 34 now and he had a lot of hard miles on him. He strikes me as the kind of player who'll go down hill fast once he starts fading.

Surprised we did not go with Greiss tonight and Fleury tomorrow.

Sleep skating on L-tryptophan.

Why didn't you say hi? My wife and I came all the way from Houston to watch the Pens. :-)

Woulda thought GMJR could of lit more of a fire under those guys last night to beat his former team.......
