On location: Steelers 27, Bengals 17, final

Hopefully Ike Taylor watches with them, there is no way this guy should play again this season.

I see Devon Still's out for Cincy. I hope it's nothing to do with his poor little girl, especially over the holidays.

I'm assuming Ben has the mumps until I'm told otherwise.

A "minor stomach virus" is when somebody else has it.

Wow! What a run!

Antonio Brown is the man!!!

Nice start by the secondary on the first defensive series.

Oh no, not Ed Hochuli. Can't wait until his recitation of the Gettysburg Address.

Dalton being Dalton, LOL

Hope that mistake by McCain doesn't end up costing them. Should have stayed in the end zone.

3 passes dropped already. Unacceptable.

Bengals are controlling the flow so far. Not liking the feel of this.

Nice play by Dalton there. Short field comes back to haunt them.

The offense and defense looks terrible so far. Oh well, playing Indy next weekend isn't such a bad thing.

Just called Brown, Bell and Ben the Killer B's. Brings back some memories :)

What are you doing, Hochuli? You just gave them a touchdown.

15 on the Play when they're in a 4th down panic, and you reset it and change out the ball after it is already set?

Way to give them time to think.

Even if they don't have the talent to get it done at a high level, the D looks like they came ready to play today. The offense looks like they thought they could mail in another 42 this time around.

Stage too big ? For the Steelers, I mean. This is their 1st crack at something this big with the spotlight on them. It's almost a completely new team.

This game isn't going to be won or lost by the refs. Turnovers and defense. no excuses...

Steelers offense played a sloppy 1st quarter, should improve as the game goes on

All they did this week was talk about their piss poor red zone offense, and that's the best they can dial up on 3rd and 8? Pathetic.

Don't like the call. Thinking small.

Think big.

They called timeout for that ?

Harrison saved a big play there. Wow.

To quote my friend the kool aid man, "Oh yeah!!!"

TD Bryant!

Steelers back on top.

Somebody say something about defense & special teams ? ;)

If they're just going to let Ben stand back there like the Statue Of Liberty, this one is going to end up looking a lot like the first matchup. They need to find a way to get some heat on him.

This red zone offense is unacceptable. There's no reason for this offense to be that horrific inside the 20. Wow.

Disappointing not to get another six there.

Tomlin's bad clock management at the end of the first half is trumped by Lewis' even worse clock management.

Am I not watching the same game? Holy negative Batman ! But I guess I should know better by now...guess I shouldn't talk about Ben not being sacked yet?

No matter what happens tonight, the Steelers' playoff game will have an 8:15 p.m. kickoff Saturday. Either Ravens here or Colts in Indy.

Andy Dalton completed as many passes to Brice McCain in the 1st half as he did to AJ Green.

Bengals should have just went for it again. Very poor odds for long field goals at Heinz field this time of year.

...unless a tie happens tonight, then it's Pittsburgh at Cincy, 1:05PM Sunday.

Boy is Will Allen having a football game.

Chris collinsworth asked if mike Mitchell can fill the role polamalu has played all these years? What kind of drugs is he on?

Shazier has been in for the past 3 series. Injuries to Williams or Spence?

Uh oh.

Yeah not good

Oh no!

Well, there's one guy you can't afford to lose. It's a pretty short list on this team but he's right at or near the top.

thay better not be an ACL!!!!

Bell goes down and it will be all she wrote.

couple nice screens to Bell and then Zip. Ben may be off a little with virus but he is making some high throws. Nelson just is a knee tackler and some one should take his a** out.

Looked more like a shot to the thigh. Should be OK.

Time to unleash Dri Archer in December, or something.

That sound you just heard? The collective hope Steelers' fan crashing to Earth like a ELE meteor.

Dr. DJ says hyperextended right knee based upon replay.

I've torn ACL's in both knees. Obviously I'm no doctor, but it looks from the replays like it was too high. I didn't trot anywhere after either of mine. Hope he's well.

Well, Ray Rice is available.

That comfortable feeling in this game just got a lot less comfortable.

Whats next, Ben has the mumps? Offense hasn't been sharp this game after the first quarter. Should have been an lead of 18 points.

Defense needs to force one more turnover.

Bell injury is result of NFL high hit penalties. Can't go high- go for knees. The way nasty injures happen.

Steelers officially list Bell with a hyper-extended knee. Return doubtful.

I've had a hyper extended knee before. It scares the hell out of you and it hurts, but he could play next week if they rehab aggressively in my opinion.

Gotta watch Sanu down here.

Ben allowed Bengals to have life and steelers likely will pay for it now - 4th quarter could be a reversal of game in Cincy

Okay, need Ben to come up big (7 pts) on next drive to seal the deal.

They're going to have to score more points. And now they're going to have to throw to do it. They don't have a running back that can pick up the blitz & protect Ben. Very worrisome.

Ahhhh fudge!

Is he Josh Harrison's father?

What in the world was that ?

That was terrible. Holy crap Tomlin! Throw it 25 yards, Incredible

If the defense knows the fake is coming, why bother at that point? My God what a terrible call!

Why did we run a fake with the lead?? Sometimes these decisions make no sense.

Explain to me how that was a good idea with only a three point lead?

If there's ever a time to burn a timeout.....it's when the defense knows there is a fake punt coming.

Wth?

Are we gonna hand another division title to that impostor -- Lewis?

Tomlin just shouted to the entire world he has no faith in his defense. Wow.

Fake punt at home with late lead when a good punt pins them deep. Throw in its a rookie punter. Odd call.

I guess when you have a QB machine in Dalton you cannot hope to contain him.

Why????? that call is the difference between a home game and on the road next week. .

HUGE TO!

Wow! What a blessing there! Mike Mitchell saves the day!

Antwon Blake makes plays when it counts. What a strip

Or maybe it was Mitchell that finally made a play. Either way, big takeaway

Big break, the Bengals were in sync there.

I vaguely remember Brad Wing scoring a TD on a fake punt at LSU and then being flagged for excessive celebration. I expect that kind of chicanery from Les Miles.

See you Saturday, Ravens.

Icing on the cake!

So Anyone want to try and figure out what Bryant was doing there?

And there is the nail in the coffin. AB caps off his nfl best season with a long TD and goodnight Cincy. Ratbirds coming to town Saturday night.

How stinking great is AB. Good thing he has better balance than Bryant who tried to tackle him.

is everyone else's twitter down too?

It's great to see the Steelers getting these kinds of breaks late in the season

Combination of precision routes, stop/start capability and shiftiness once catch made. Deadly.

Brown may be as close as there is to uncoverable . . . if that's even a word.

3) Big Ben
2) Steelers secondary (!!)
1) AB

Lol...nice Kevin. I love cousin Eddie. Very bummed about Bell though

I wonder if DK is as impressed with the Steelers secondary as Chris Collensworth is?

Looks like that AB TD totally sucked the life out of Cincy. Not to mention that their receiving corps now looks like a M.A.S.H unit.

That is the Steelers 21st division title since the merger in 1970, most in the NFL. The Cowboys are 2nd with 19.

Tomlin looked ready to drop Nelson.

AFC North champions the Pittsburgh Steelers!

Dr. DJ prescribes rest and heavy anti-inflammatories through Friday.

Bell good to go Saturday-- 75% Bell being better than nothing.

Where have these DBs been all season?! Man what a performance.

Hard to imagine being bummed after winning the division. Sucks. Going to be tough next week without Bell. Please pick up a warm body and don't dress Archer.

Anyone think that any of the AFC teams seeded 3-6 can beat New England?

Dom, a fully healthy Steelers squad is damn tough to beat, I would imagine they're the team New England fears the most, if Bell is healthy

Our guy will have to battle a sea of reporters to get an interview with Bell. Odds set at 2 to 1 in favor of DK.

So Tomlin said his knee is structuraly sound. That's good.

Mike Tomlin, Coach of the Year. Tell me why not.
