Podcast: WDVE postgame from Heinz Field

With one game the Steelers regressed to mid season form and it's sad. You can't pin the blame on Troy or Ike. They simply got beat badly on the LOC which the Ravens dominated. I think Pouncy and the boys spent as much time in the pocket as Ben.

Horizontal pass routes, noncommittal running plays and inside linebackers who hardly made a tackle in the first half; you're right we got our collective fanny handed to us.

Finally why do they allow Ben & Heath to return to the game. Michelle Tafoyo actually was there when Ben was examined and said after being examined Ben simply got his helmet and ran back on the field. Apparently he hadn't been officially cleared. Next play interception. Heath comes back in and fumbles. Where are the coaches and doctors in all this?

The off season should be interesting.

I can honestly sat that I wasn't surprised that we lost, based upon our season Unfortunately,we will still have Mike back,Todd H and our GM..A very good OC can compensate for the loss of a key player.Yes,we had great offensive stats, but we were not consistent.Todd H has weapons that many OC'S would drool over and come up with consistent game plans.Every game,we play,we come out like gangbusters and settle for field goals.Big Ben had a career year on top of that and we couldn't get it done.11-5 is a great record, but don't forget we had an easier schedule than the Ravens and Bengals.Mike Tomlin is not the right fit for this team, his post season record shows it.John H is a way better coach than he will ever be.Losing consistently to bad teams on the road over the last years shows you that he just can't motivate his teams. Our GM has failed to replace aging players and playing ridiculous sums of money to bad players over the last few years. We cut Brett, and James because they were too old and we later had to get them back, because the players that we have, can't get it done. How do they send Big Ben in the game, right after he took that hit as well as Heath? We all saw what happened when they returned.
Hopefully,we will have a better game plan for 2015 in the draft and in FA.Great columns DK
