Penguins 2, Canadiens 1, OT

I've noticed that too, caught whatever Downie has.

Martin?

Martin. After another poor turnover....

Cross check to face. Think he will get yet another suspension?

Yea he's lucky Weber didn't put him in the hospital

go where? good grief!

Back to drawing board it appears

Their PP is appalling. Can barely get to the zone. Then not enough movement. Argh.

Is it time fore MJ to get more involved?

Penguins had Malkin and Crosby on the same PP for ever and the PP wasn't very good until James Neal arrived. Need to find personal or a system to replace his production.

Well it's Toch's PP at least as I understood it.
But Letang is no QB....I would be trying different pieces such as Erhoff for Ketang, Bennett for Kunitz....
It's absolutely futile right now.

Yea it would be nice to see them try some new stuff

You take Kunitz off the PP and who is the net front presence?

Remember when they were steamrolling teams with the PP and people were going nuts over it? It was because they had Hornqvist and Kunitz in front as well as shooting the puck. Get Hornqvist back and start shooting the puck while on the PP and take Kunitz off for a shooter like Perron and my guess is the PP will pick up.

The only other thing I'd consider is maybe switching out Letang for Martin. Last year Martin was doing well as the PP QB. But that is iffy, if there is plans by the FO to move Martin.

Dunno enough about their 4th but Sid isn't eating anybody alive at the moment, sadly....

If teams can do that and put their shutdown line on Geno, that is not a recipe for 4 W's out of 7 in the spring

Wiese, Plekanec, and Desharnias isn't their 4th line, though Wiese isn't a top six forward, Therrien makes some odd personnel decisions.

Geno torched their 4th line

It certainly helped that someone went in front of the net to screen as well.

Amazing shot!

You get tired of losing

But to hang your brother out to dry and leave him behind to lose worse?

You'd think they'd talk and coordinate a little better if they wanted to play together and win at the same time.

Did that just say Sid has no shot attempts this game?
